The Western Restaurant live cooking class during
Galway Food Festival 2013
The Western Hotel and The Western Restaurant is proud to announce it is partaking in the second edition of The Galway Food Festival that will take place on the Easter Bank Holiday weekend in Galway City. The festival promotes local produce and healthy eating, both of which The Western Restaurant proudly encourages. On Saturday 30th of March The Western Hotel in association with Star Seafoods will be conducting a cooking demonstration at The Western Restaurant. Head Chef Ken Shaw will be demonstrating how to cook “Salmon and Hake five different ways” and will be on hand to answer any questions the fans of healthy cooking may have on the day. This fantastic food Event is free for everyone to attend and will be mapped on Food Trail Map on 2013 Galway Food Festival Brochure. Make sure to be here at 4PM on Saturday 30th of March.

Weekly entertainment includes:
Tuesday - Every Tuesday from 9:30pm everyone is welcome on stage to sing a song or you can just come in to sit down, relax and enjoy new Galway talent.
Thursday - Every Thursday night from 9.30pm OGMA- a federation of Galway musicians entertain the crowds at The Western. This open session can attract up to 20 musicians and is a show not to be missed. With Michael McGettrick, Hugh melvin and Friends performing- you are guaranteed a good night! Feel free to pick up an instrument and give it a go yourself!
Saturday - From 9.30, come, enjoy a pint, and listen to our live band in a bustling and fun-filled atmosphere! Enjoy covers of the latest hits as well as some old favourites- if you have a song you would like to hear- give them a shout!
